With this feature, you can integrate a paywall directly into your coapp page. This allows you to make content such as masterclasses, premium discussion groups, or special learning sessions available only to members on selected plans or to an individually selected group.
Why Use Exclusive Content?
Targeted access: You decide which plans provide access to the exclusive sections. Alternatively, you can add selected members as contributors.
Flexible content sections: You decide where the exclusive content begins. Everything above that point remains visible to all members.
Visibility and teaser effect: The page remains listed in the channel and can be found by all members. This also draws the attention of members without access to the offer.
Integrated upselling: Members without the required plan encounter a paywall when they reach the exclusive section and can unlock the appropriate plan from there.
Who Can See the Exclusive Content?
Access is granted to:
Members with one of the membership plans you selected
All members who have been added to the page as contributors
Contributors can view the exclusive content regardless of their plan. You therefore do not have to select a membership plan: If you only want to share the content with a specific group, simply add the relevant members as contributors.
Step by Step: Create a Page with Exclusive Content
1. Start Creating the Page
Open the desired channel and click the option to create a new page.
2. Set the Title and Channel
Give the page a clear title and check that the correct channel is selected.
3. Select the Page Type
Scroll to the “How would you like to use this page?” section and select “Page with exclusive content.”
4. Define the Access Rules
Optionally, select the membership plans that should provide access to the exclusive content.
Do you only want to share the content with selected people? In that case, you do not need to select a membership plan at this stage. Simply add the relevant members as contributors after creating the page.
5. Create the Page and Add Content
Complete the page creation process and fill the page with your content.
6. Define the Exclusive Section
Place the exclusive content divider in the desired position:
Everything above the divider is visible to all members.
Everything below it is part of the exclusive section.
The exclusive section can be accessed by eligible members and all contributors.
The divider can be moved within the page. This allows you to decide how much content you want to show as a preview and where the paywall should begin.
7. Add Contributors
Add individual members as contributors when needed. They will receive access to the exclusive content regardless of their plan.
What Do Members Without Access See?
The page remains discoverable: The page and its title continue to appear in the relevant channel.
The freely accessible section remains visible: All content above the divider can be viewed as usual.
The exclusive section remains locked: A notice appears at the divider to indicate that exclusive content follows below. Members without the appropriate plan cannot view this content.
An upgrade is available directly: If a member wants to unlock the content, they can select the required plan through the paywall.
Good to Know
A page with exclusive content does not have to be tied exclusively to a plan. You can also use it as a protected space for a selected group by adding the relevant members as contributors. This makes the feature suitable for both paid offers and curated content with individually assigned access.
