Create and manage pages

Learn how to create, manage, and structure pages, define access, organize members and roles, and make selected content exclusively available to specific membership plans.

Within your channels, an unlimited number of pages can be created. As an admin, you can decide individually for each channel whether members are also allowed to create their own pages. Pages can be used as a knowledge base, project area, forum, course, or space for collaboration, for example.

When creating a page, you determine who can use it and access its content. In addition to private pages and community pages, you can also create pages with exclusive content. This allows you to make selected sections available only to members with a suitable membership plan.

Create a page

Enter a meaningful title. You can change it at any time later.

Select the channel in which the page should appear. Channels help organize your community’s content by topic.

Decide how you would like to use the page:

Private page

A private page is suitable for content intended only for selected members, such as internal projects or closed workspaces.

Community page

A community page is designed for interaction and collaboration within your community. Members can follow or join the page according to the selected join option.

Page with exclusive content

With this page type, you can link selected content to one or more membership plans.

The page remains visible and discoverable to all members. However, you determine the point from which content is only accessible with a suitable membership plan. Content above this boundary remains visible to everyone. Content below it can be accessed via “Unlock” once the required membership plan is active.

Under “Select plans,” select the membership plans that should provide access to the exclusive content.

Define how members can join the page

Next, determine how other members can join the page:

By invitation only: Members are added by the page owners.

Members can request to join: Interested members can submit a request.

Everyone can join: Members can join the page directly.

Then click “Create.”

Design and edit the page

Open the page and click the pencil icon to edit its settings and content. Use suitable tags to categorize the page by topic and make it easier to discover.

You can also use the “Links” section to add further information, files, or external offerings.

Structure content with sections

Use the plus icon to add new sections. Existing sections can be:

edited,

deleted,

moved up or down.

This allows you to build the page step by step and arrange its content in a logical order.

Define exclusive content

On a page with exclusive content, there is a divider labeled “Exclusive content starts below.”

Everything above this divider remains visible to everyone. This allows you to show an introduction, a preview, or a short description of the offering, for example.

All sections and posts below the divider are only fully accessible to members with a selected membership plan. Other members see a preview and the “Unlock” button.

The divider can be moved within the page. This allows you to decide how much content is freely visible and where the exclusive section begins.

With “Preview as Member,” you can check how the page is displayed from a member’s perspective.

Manage members and roles

In the page’s members section, you can add people and manage existing members.

There are different roles:

Owners can edit and delete the page and add or remove contributors.

Contributors can publish posts on the page.

Followers receive notifications about new posts on the page.

Publish posts

In the “Posts” section, owners and contributors can create new posts. Depending on their access, members can react to posts and leave comments.

On pages with exclusive content, posts below the access restriction are also protected. Members without a suitable membership plan only see a preview and can access the content via “Unlock.”

Manage or delete the page

Using the controls at the top of the page, you can:

edit the page,

add members,

open the members view,

share the page,

delete the page.

Summary

Pages allow you to organize knowledge, build community spaces, and publish content together with other members. Depending on the use case, you can create a private page, an open community page, or a page with exclusive content.

For pages with exclusive content, you decide which content remains freely visible and which content can only be unlocked with a selected membership plan.
