User Rules for Bookings

Updated this week

Access Management for Resources

We’ve introduced a new feature that allows you to manage access to each resource individually. You can now define exactly who can see and who can book a resource.

How it works

  1. Open the settings of the resource you want to manage.

  2. Go to the Access Management section.

  3. Define permissions based on:

    • User roles (e.g. only Admins)

    • Membership plans (e.g. only Pro Users)

    • Individual members

  4. Save your changes – the rules apply immediately.

Combining Rules with Logic

In addition to simple rules, you can combine them logically with And and Or operators to create more precise access rules.

Examples

  • And: Both conditions must be true.
Example: Plan is equal to Mentor and User role is any.
→ Only users who are Mentors and have any role will see the resource.

  • Or: At least one condition must be true.
Example: User is equal to Jonas Lindemann or Plan is equal to Maker Pro.
→ Either Jonas Lindemann or anyone on the Maker Pro plan can book the resource.

This allows you to build highly flexible access rules and adapt the visibility and booking permissions exactly to your community’s needs.

Why this matters

  • Provide exclusive content for specific member groups.

  • Gain better control over your internal resources.

  • Keep your interface clean by only showing what’s relevant to each member.

This new access management gives you full flexibility and helps you build a more structured and engaging community experience.
