With the Paid Page feature, you can integrate a paywall directly into coapp. This means you can make exclusive content like masterclasses, premium discussion groups, or special learning sessions accessible only to members with selected subscription plans.
Why use Paid Pages?
Exclusivity: You retain full control over who can access your content.
Visibility (Teaser Effect): Even if a page is paid, it remains listed in the channel for all members to discover. This way, basic members can see exactly what premium content they are missing out on.
Integrated Upselling: Members without the required plan hit a paywall and are immediately given the option to upgrade their subscription directly from that view.
Step-by-Step: How to create a Paid Page
Setting up a paywall for your content only takes a few clicks when creating a new page.
Start page creation: Click on the option to create a new page within your desired channel.
Title and Channel: In the "Create page" window, enter a name for your page and verify that the correct channel is selected.
Select page type: Scroll down to the "How would you like to use this page?" section and select Paid page.
Set access rules: Here, you can select the specific subscription plan(s) that should grant access to the content on this page.
Save and build: Finish creating the page. Your paywall is now active, and you can start filling the page with your exclusive content!
Note: Only members with the subscription plan(s) you specified will be able to read or interact with the content on this page.
What do members without the required plan see?
coapp is designed so that premium content isn't completely hidden, but rather used to actively encourage upgrades.
Discover: The member sees the title of the Paid Page just like any other page in the channel's sidebar.
The Paywall: If a member without the necessary permission clicks on the page, the actual content remains hidden. Instead, a message appears stating that this area is exclusively reserved for specific plans.
