How can I share files in coapp?

Learn how to share files with your community in coapp

Updated today

In coapp, you can easily share and manage all types of content — from photos and files to videos, music, and documents.

Sharing photos

You can share photos anywhere in coapp — in posts, comments, on pages, in events, and within sections.

You can upload single or multiple images at once.

To share photos:

  1. Create a new post or open a comment or page.

  2. Click the “Add image” icon in the editor.

  3. Select one or more images from your device.

  4. Publish your post or save your changes.

The images will appear directly in your post or comment for all members who have access to that area.

Sharing files

You can upload and share files with your community in various places — in the feed, on pages, or within events. Files can even be pinned in the right sidebar of pages and events, so everyone has quick access to important materials.

Typical examples include:

  • Agendas, sponsor lists, and contracts

  • Project templates or resource documents

  • Event presentations or guidelines

Sharing videos and music

coapp automatically embeds videos and music from popular platforms, making it easy to enrich your posts with multimedia content.

Videos:

If you paste a YouTube or Vimeo link into a post, it will be automatically embedded and playable directly in coapp — without leaving the platform.

Music:

If you add a Spotify or SoundCloud link (track, album, or playlist), an audio player appears right inside your post, allowing members to listen directly within coapp.

Using pages as documents

Pages in coapp are ideal for creating and sharing longer, structured content within your community — such as knowledge articles, guides, or internal documentation.

Pages can include:

  • Multiple sections, images, links, and formatted text

  • Collections of resources, instructions, or project descriptions

  • FAQs or team documentation

Pages can be shared publicly or restricted to specific groups.

You can also invite co-authors or contributors to collaborate on the same page in real time — perfect for collective documentation or shared resource hubs.
