Language Settings and Supported Languages

Learn how coapp automatically detects your language, which languages are available, and how to adjust your settings for both the web and mobile app.

coapp adapts to you: The platform automatically detects your browser's language settings and adjusts the user interface accordingly.

Supported Languages Currently, coapp supports two languages:

  • German

  • English

Note on automatic detection: If your browser is set to a language other than German (e.g., French or Spanish), coapp will automatically default to English.

Changing Language Manually Independently of browser settings, members and admins can manually set their preferred language (German or English) in their account.

How to do it:

  1. Click on your profile picture in the top right corner.

  2. Select "Account" from the menu.

  3. Go to the "Language" section.

  4. Select your preferred language (German or English).

The change takes effect immediately. This setting is personal and does not affect other community members.

Mobile App Specifics In the coapp mobile app, two mechanisms work together to offer you the best experience:

  • Content & Account Areas: These are displayed based on the language you selected in your coapp account settings (as described above).

  • Menu Bar & Navigation: These elements automatically adapt to your smartphone's system language.
