When your users make a booking that starts in one billing cycle and ends in the next, it's important to understand how coapp charges for bookings โ€“ especially if you are using coapps "booking credits" feature.

coapp always charges for bookings in your community based on the booking's start time. This means that the price of the booking will be calculated based on the start time, regardless of when the booking actually ends.

For example, let's say your customer receives their invoice monthly on the 15th. They book a workshop room for 3 days or 72 hours starting at 10am on March 14th. In this case, the booking price will be calculated using any remaining booking credits (if any) from the billing period of February 15th to March 15th.

It's important to note that the booking will be added to the invoice created on March 15th, even though the booking itself ends on March 17th. This is because coapp charges based on the start time of the booking, not the end time.

Understanding how coapp charges for bookings will help you better support your community by explaining accurately, when and how bookings are charged for.
